Big Water Print Co.
How it works

Upload. Size. Press.

We designed every part of the process, from the upload form to the box on your doorstep, to get out of your way. Here's what to expect.

The process

From upload to press in four simple steps.

We built our ordering platform from the ground up so the hardest part of your job is deciding what to print.

  1. Upload your graphics

Drop in PNGs, PDFs, or vector files. Our system checks resolution and transparency and flags anything that needs attention.

  2. Set sizes & quantities

Tell us how big each graphic prints and how many you need. We estimate the film required on a 30.5″ sheet and price it live.

  3. We build, print & cure

We nest your graphics onto the sheet, print on premium PET film with a bright white underbase, powder, and cure. Most orders ship in 1–3 business days.

  4. Press and go

300°F, 10–15 seconds, peel, done. No weeding, no masking, no mess. Works on cotton, poly, blends, and more.

Pressing guide

Dialed-in settings for every press.

These settings work on nearly every heat press and fabric. Test one on scrap first if you're working with something unusual.

  1. 1

    Pre-press

Press the bare garment for 3–5 seconds to flatten seams and drive out moisture.

  2. 2

    Position

Place the transfer print-side down. Heat-resistant tape helps on slippery fabrics.

  3. 3

    Press

300°F for 10–15 seconds at medium-firm pressure. Even pressure matters more than time.

  4. 4

    Peel

Peel the film right away while it's still hot, smoothly in one motion. No cooling, no waiting.

  5. 5

    Finish

Cover with parchment or a Teflon sheet and press 5–10 more seconds for a soft matte finish and maximum wash durability.

Care tip: wait 24 hours before the first wash, turn garments inside out, wash cold, and skip the dryer's high heat. Your transfers will thank you for years.

Quality

The perfect melt, every sheet.

Flip one of our transfers over and you'll see a fine, even texture across the back, what printers call “orange peel.” It's the signature of adhesive that has fully melted and bonded to the ink. Under-cured powder looks sandy and flakes off in the wash; over-cured turns glassy and cracks when the shirt stretches. The sweet spot is narrow, and hitting it is what makes a transfer last.

We get there with materials matched to each other, a fine-grade TPU powder that melts clean on our film and ink, and a curing line dialed in for exactly that combination. The result is a backing that grabs the fabric on the first press, peels hot, and stays soft and flexible for the life of the garment.

Behind the scenes

What happens after you click order.

Every file is reviewed by a person before it hits the queue. We check resolution, transparency, and stray pixels, then RIP the file with a white underbase tuned for your artwork. Sheets print, get powdered and cured in-line, then are inspected, cut, rolled and packed. You get a tracking number the moment it leaves.
