What is a DTF transfer?
Direct-to-film (DTF) transfers are full-color designs printed onto a special film, coated with a hot-melt adhesive powder, and cured. You press the transfer onto a garment with a heat press and peel away the film, leaving a soft, stretchy, incredibly durable print. No weeding, no cutting, and it works on cotton, polyester, blends, and more, light or dark.
How does ordering work?
Upload each graphic, tell us the printed size and how many you need, and we lay everything out on a 30.5″ wide gang sheet for you. You pay for the length of film your order actually needs, so you never have to build a sheet yourself.
What's a gang sheet and how is it priced?
A gang sheet is one continuous run of 30.5″ wide transfer film with many designs on it. We price by the square inch of film used: sheet width × sheet length × your rate. Our estimator on the pricing page predicts the length from your graphics' sizes and quantities. The minimum sheet is 50″ long; there's no maximum.
Is there a minimum order?
Every order runs on at least a 30.5″ × 50″ sheet. That's roughly 24 full-size 11″ × 14″ prints or well over a hundred left-chest logos, so most orders clear it easily. If yours doesn't, add more graphics to the same order at no extra cost until the sheet is full.
Do you offer volume pricing?
Yes. Shops and brands with consistent volume get a negotiated per-square-inch rate that's applied automatically to every order on their account. Reach out through the contact page to talk numbers.
What file types do you accept?
PNG (transparent background, 300 DPI), SVG, or PDF, up to 10 MB each. Have an AI, EPS, PSD, or JPG instead? Contact us and we'll help convert it. Every order is reviewed by a person before printing.
How fast is turnaround?
Most orders ship within 1–3 business days of artwork approval. Need it faster? Reach out and we'll do our best to accommodate rush requests.
Where do you ship?
We ship from Michigan to anywhere in North America, including Canada and Mexico. Shipping is calculated at checkout based on your order size and destination.
How do I apply the transfers?
Pre-press your garment for 3–5 seconds to remove moisture. Press the transfer at 300°F (150°C) for 10–15 seconds with medium-firm pressure. Peel the film immediately while it's hot, then do a final press for 5–10 seconds with a parchment or Teflon sheet for a soft matte finish. Full instructions ship with every order.
How durable are your transfers?
Our transfers are rated for 50+ washes when applied correctly and washed inside-out in cold water. They stretch with the fabric without cracking or peeling.
